Semolina pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons ghee or butter
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 bowl semolina
  • 1/2 bowl sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins / cashew / almonds or any other nuts
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • Pinch of food color (optional)

Direction

  • Heat ghee in a pan. Add semolina and cook for a few minutes in a low-medium heat, constantly stirring. Add sugar, and nuts. Fry for few more minutes on low-medium heat.
  • Add water and food color. Mix well and keep stirring until you get the desired thick consistency.
  • Garnish the top with the some nuts. Serve either hot or cold as per your preferences.
